Note: PayPak is the default Debit Card offered to the customers. However, customer may opt for other card schemes i.e. VISA & UnionPay Debit Cards, charges will be applicable as per prevailing Schedule of Bank Charges.
- Copy of valid CNIC / SNIC / NICOP/ SNICOP as required for Pakistani Nationals or Passport
- Successful Biometric Verification. In case Biometric verification cannot be performed due to genuine reasons or technical issues, verification of ID document will be performed using Verisys as referred in FAQs of Biometric Verification
- PPO - Pension Payment Order (Optional)
- Pension Book and Pension Certificate (Optional)
- Non-Marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Life certificate / Non-Marriage certificate after every six months on or before 10th March and on or before 10th Sept. In case of a widow/widower, unmarried daughter, or sister, a Non-marriage certificate will be submitted by the pensioner in addition to Life/ survival certificate
- Duly signed Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (“FATCA”) Form (if applicable)
- Photocopy of Option form duly signed by the pensioner
- Duly signed Self-Certification Form (CRS Individual / Proprietorship Tax Residency) (if applicable)
- Indemnity Form on judicial paper of PKR 50(fifty) irrespective of monthly pension drawn to keep the bank indemnified about liabilities with all sums of money whatsoever including mark-up of his/her Pension Account. The pensioner would further undertake that his/her legal heirs, successors, and executors shall be liable to refund the excess amount, if any, credited to his/her Pension Account either in full or in installments (as agreed mutually) equal to such excess amount
Taxes
Taxes will be applicable as per government regulations and directives of State Bank of Pakistan
How To Open Your Armed Forces Pensioner`s Account
Visit the nearest Bank AL Habib Branch or Download Account Opening form online and submit the duly completed form with all supporting documents at any Bank AL Habib Branch.
