Free Life and Disability Insurance Cover
It gives us great pleasure to inform our valued customers that Bank AL Habib has arranged Absolutely Free Insurance Cover for our existing account holders.
- Claim is eligible after 30 days of account opening
- Claims payable on 90 days of average balance in account
- Maximum Claims on Accidental Death – PKR 4 Millions
- Maximum claims on natural death / permeant disability – PKR 2 Million
- In a joint account, anyone of the account holders are covered
- Age limit – 18 to 60 years
- The insurance cover is provided to the extent of the average balance maintained in the account during the last 90 days in the case of Natural death and Permanent Disability, whereas in the case of Accidental Death, the coverage provided is double.

You may deposit and withdraw PKR 1 Million respectively in the account per month.
Resident Pakistani Nationals are eligible to open the Digital Account.
Customer must provide valid Computerized / Smart National Identity Card and self-declaration for citing source of funds.
You must complete the biometric verification process as soon as your account has been opened. You can do this via the AL Habib Biometric Verification app or by visiting the nearest Bank AL Habib branch.
For Asaan Digital Account, CNIC/SNIC and a self-declaration form are sufficient documentary evidence for proof on income and profession.
For a Minor, the following are required:

Customers with a Rupee account may apply for a Debit Card.
You can complete the account opening process from the comfort of your home. Even biometric verification can be completed via the AL Habib Biometric Verification app. However, if you wish to visit the branch, you may do so.
Biometric verification must be done immediately after the account has been opened. You may complete the biometric verification process from anywhere via the AL Habib Biometric Verification app or visit the nearest Bank AL Habib branch.
Yes, you may resume the application process through “Resume Application”. After this, you will be required to input your reference number, Email Address and Mobile OTAC Verification code.

Yes, you may obtain financing against 90% deposits subject to Terms and Conditions
A customer cannot maintain any other account with the Bank if they have an Asaan Digital Account or Asaan Digital Remittance Account.
Yes you may modify your account details through the “Account Maintenance” option.
You may request a Statement of Account hardcopy specifically from Call Center.
Our team will let you know within two days if the Account Opening application is accepted or declined. In case of potential decline, your case shall be referred back by the Centralized Operations Digital Desk.
You may receive a video call link via email from Bank AL Habib for further details/verification in accordance with the regulations of the State Bank of Pakistan. Bank AL Habib will never call from (+92 21) 111-014-014 or any other number asking for your personal information, internet/mobile banking User ID, Password, Debit/Credit Card number, PIN, OTP or CVV.
Yes, a customer must accept Terms & Conditions before proceeding further with the application.
How To Open Your Asaan Digital Current Account
Visit the nearest Bank AL Habib Branch or Download Account Opening form online and submit the duly completed form with all supporting documents at any Bank AL Habib Branch.
