- Copy of valid CNIC / SNIC / NICOP/ SNICOP as required for Pakistani Nationals or Passport
- Successful Biometric Verification. In case Biometric verification cannot be performed due to genuine reasons or technical issues, verification of ID document will be performed using Verisys as referred in FAQs of Biometric Verification
- PPO - Pension Payment Order (Optional)
- Pension Book and Pension Certificate (Optional)
- *Life certificate/Biometric verification (whichever is applicable) and in case of family pension, a non-marriage certificate** by the widow/widower, unmarried daughter or sister.
- Duly signed Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (“FATCA”) Form (if applicable)
- Photocopy of Option form duly signed by the pensioner
- Duly signed Self-Certification Form (CRS Individual / Proprietorship Tax Residency) (if applicable)
All taxes will be imposed as per government regulations and directives by the State Bank of Pakistan.
*During the course of account relationship, submission of life certificate/Biometric verification after every six months (i.e. on or before 10th March and 10th September) and in case of family pension, submission of Non-Marriage Certificate on yearly basis (i.e. on or before September 30th)
**To be exempted for women (widow or daughter of pensioner) attaining 60 years of age.
For individual accounts
Any of the following documents may be used as proof of identity:
- Copy of CNIC/SNIC
- Original PPO- Pension Payment Order
- Name of NBP branch / GPO from where pension was being drawn
- Pension Book and Pension Certificate
- After every 6-month pensioner should submit the life certificate / Non-Marriage certificate
- Copy of Pension Book mentioning monthly amount of pension and other particulars will also be required along with other documents as required in case of individual accounts

Visit the nearest Bank AL Habib Branch or Download Account Opening form online and submit the duly completed form with all supporting documents at any Bank AL Habib Branch.
