How To Open Your Monthly Savers Account
Visit the nearest Bank AL Habib Branch or Download Account Opening form online and submit the duly completed form with all supporting documents at any Bank AL Habib Branch.
Fee & Charges will be levied according to bank`s prevailing schedule of charges.
All taxes will be imposed as per government regulation and directives by State Bank of Pakistan.
Documents Required
For individual accounts
- Original CNIC along with a verified copy
- Job Card / Job Letter and Salary Slip for Salaried individual
- Any other proof of income
- Child Registration Certificate/B-Form/Student ID Card (For Minor)
For Sole Proprietor Accounts
- Original CNIC along with verified copy
- Proprietary rubber stamp
- Copy of NTN (attested by Notary Public)
- Certificate or proof of membership of trade bodies etc., (wherever applicable)
- Request for Opening of Account on letter head
For Partnership Accounts
- CNIC copy of all partners (verified)
- Partnership Rubber Stamp
- Request for Opening of Account on letter head
- Partnership Letter on Letter Head (Signed by all partners)
- Partnership Deed (verified)
- Attested copy of Registration Certificate issued by Registrar of Firms in case of registered firm. In case the partnership is unregistered, this fact shall be clearly mentioned on the Account Opening Form.
- Copy of NTN (verified)
For Companies Account
- Certificate of Incorporation (attested by company secretary).
- Resolution of Board of Directors.
- Complete Memorandum and Articles of Association (attested by SECP & 1st and last page to be attested by company secretary).
- Form-29 (attested by company secretary and SECP)
- List of Directors (attested by company secretary).
- Copy of CNIC’S of all Directors (attested by company secretary).
- NTN Certificate (attested).
- Form-A & CNIC copies of shareholders holding more than 10 % shares.
- CRS form for tax residency self-certification
- All documents must be attested by company secretary / Director / CEO.
- Articles & Memorandum of Association, Form-A & Form-29 should be attested by Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
Non- Resident Rupee Account can be opened and maintained by the following individuals and entities other than banks:
- Non-resident Pakistanis (NRPs)*
- Foreign nationals except those who have obtained work visa/permit to work in Pakistan
- Firms, companies, etc. which are incorporated/registered outside Pakistan
* A person shall be treated as non-resident if his/her period of stay in Pakistan during a calendar year is less than 183 days, in aggregate.
NRP falling in any one of the above category can open the following types of Non- Resident Rupee Account
- Non-resident Rupee Account-Repatriable (NRAR)
- Non-resident Rupee Account-Non-Repatriable (NRAN)
