SBP Refinance Scheme

To promote availability of storage facilities to enhance food security, State Bank of Pakistan has launched a Refinance Scheme in the name of “Financing Facility for Storage of Agricultural Produce (FFSAP)” for the establishment of agricultural produce storage facilities. The salient features of this scheme are as under:

  • Financing is available:
    • On a long-term basis for establishment, expansion and balancing, modernization & replacement (BMR) of Steel/Metal/Concrete Silos, Warehouses & Cold Storage facilities for storing agricultural produce
    • Purchase of new imported & locally manufactured plant & machinery, equipment and accessories thereof, to be used in Steel/Metal/Concrete Silos, Warehouses, and Cold Storages
  • Purchase of new generators.The capacity of the generator shall, however, not be in excess of the in-house energy requirements of the Silos/Warehouses / Cold storage.
  • Up to 65% cost of entire civil worksFinancing is subject to adherence to rules & regulations issued by SBP from time to time
